Sometimes when you are on a skiing vacation you may not necessarily want to spend every day all day on the mountain. With a half day pass, you can spend the morning relaxing in a coffee shop, at the spa or enjoying the scenery around you and then head up the mountain for afternoon turns. This schedule is especially recommended in the spring, as the snow gets nice and soft in the afternoon sun. With a half day pass at your disposal, you can design your perfect holiday on your own terms. No matter how you envision your perfect vacation you can use your pass the way that you want to get the most out of your ski holiday.

Half-day lift tickets are available for same day purchase only. Prices and start times vary. Please visit any of the resort lift ticket offices for the most current information.

Note: Half-day lift tickets cannot be used in the morning.

However, if you are planning on taking more than one ski trip per winter and skiing more than five days, whether it be to Vail, Beaver Creek, Park City, Whistler Blackcomb, Breckenridge, Keystone, Heavenly, Northstar or Stowe (and many more), we highly recommend purchasing the Vail Resorts Epic Pass. The Epic Pass pays for itself in as little five days, so you'll likely still save money instead of purchasing day-of, half-day tickets.
